Swimming for Tigers and Hedgehogs · 19 June 2012

Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity was established in 2011 to help fundraise for important work both home and abroad. The organisation raises funds and educates visitors about species which are threatened with extinction, and also plays a major role in funding the Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Libby (10) and Aimie (7) along with their friend Rebecca (9), will be attempting to swim 3.5 KM (140 lengths) between them, on Friday 24th August 2012,  each kilometer represents 1000 of the 3500 wild tigers remaining in the wild!

Jane was going to be swimming in Lemur lake at the park, however this has been cancelled due to health and safety fears, so instead will be joining the girls in their 3.5K swim, please support me and the girls in our swimming challenge this summer.

The girls acheived their target of 3.5K between them in just one hour, a fantastic effort, I managed 2 K in the same time, which makes up for not swimming Lemur Lake.....

All the money we raise will be split between 21st Century Tiger and Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity to support their Hedgehog Hospital Fundraising Campaign .
