Wobbleberry Challenge · 11 October 2016

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having experienced cancer first hand I know how scary it can be so I am totally ready for this challenge (ish) lol so we can raise a shed load of money for this cause!!

So the story is...In Autumn 2017, I will be taking part in the Wobbleberries Challenge - a BE80 event to raise funds for Hannah's Wilberry Wonderpony and continue the fantastic fundraising legacy of Hannah Francis after her tragically young death because of cancer. The challenge is for self-proclaimed wimpy riders (aged 25 and over) with the following key characteristics:

- not currently fit enough to get round a cross country course
- not currently brave enough to get round a cross country course
- old enough to know better, and know that this will hurt!
- dedicated - to raising money, to training, and conquering the fear
- supportive of each other - aiming to be weeble-esque, "we wobble, but we don't fall down.
