Having cycled from John O'Groats to Land's End in 2004, I was on the look out for another challenge.  I eventually hit upon the idea of trying to get a team together to cycle to Zurich (Switzerland) - the Tour de Zurich was born.

The Tour de Zurich 2006 starts in Birmingham on 1 June and will go via Zurich Financial Services' offices in Cheltenham, Swindon, Whiteley and Portsmouth .  The 12-strong team of cyclists and 2 support crew will cross the channel from Portsmouth to Caen on the evening of 2 June.  The team will then set off across France and aim to arrive in  Zurich on 9 June, having covered approximately 750 miles.
