Story

Many thanks must be made to the SMILE project at Infineum for donating £400! They matched our target which was fantastic and now thanks to everyone who donated or helped us we have reached 325% of our target to the amazing sum of £1300!

Thank you everyone!

After a successful evening at the Peacock in Oxhill with the Quiz and Raffle that were held there we managed to raise a healthy sum of £271.60. Thanks to all who were involved and the Landlords at the Peacock for all the work they put in selling hundreds of raffle tickets. A good effort and I know that Shipston Home Nursing will be pleased with the result.

Well thats it people! the Great North Run has been and gone! Both Josh and Ella completed it! Josh got 2hrs 34mins and Ella got 2hrs 38mins.

Just because the run is over it doesn't mean that you cannot still donate to our chosen charity! In fact we would love it if you would donate! We are very keen to get to our target as Ella's current employer said that if we make £400 they will match it pound for pound which is very nice of them! We are also going to be at the Peacock Pub in Oxhill for the quiz night on the 2nd October so come down, enjoy the quiz and support us and Shipston Home Nursing!

Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page! We are going to run the Great North Run and need your support to raise as much money as possible for Shipston Home Nursing (SHN).

SHN is a charity providing nursing support to extremely ill people in the comfort of their own homes. It is a worthy cause and it needs all of the funding it can get to continue to provide the amazing service that it provides because and let’s face it, we all might need their support in the future! (More info available here: http://www.shipstonhomenursing.co.uk/)

Josh and Ella will be running this as a brother-sister team and need your support (inspiration) to help them achieve this goal. Although Ella ran this once before back in 2009 Josh has never been one for physical exercise and is currently finding it difficult to find the will power to wake up before sunrise every day and go for a run whilst on his holiday!

Without a doubt this is the toughest physical challenge our brother-sister team have taken on to date and we need your support to help others! Please dig deep and donate as much as you can for this worthy cause! Thank you.
