Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Did you know as a company Matalan raised over £1m for charity last year?

Matalan has raised money for the NSPCC since 2004 and the founder John Hargreaves is chairman of it's Safe Place Appeal.

This year Matalan has a target of £1.5m to raise for numerous charities and as part of that the seven of us are aiming to run 10k.

Ranging from people who reguarly run each week to people who have not done any serious exercise for 3 years we're all committed to finishing.

Current odds for finishing first are;

Jenny 'Paula Radcliffe' Boner 6/1

Rena 'Sonia O'Sullivan' Smith 7/1

Lyndsey 'Joanne Pavey' Jones 10/1

Rebecca 'Kate Reed' Finch 10/1

Amy 'Liz McColgan' Galloway 10/1

Dan 'Mo Farah' Dutton 14/1

Richard 'Brendan Foster' Chappell 20/1

Please dig deep in your pockets and help us smash our target for this run of £1,000.
