At Tenovus our aims are simple: to help prevent, treat and find a cure for cancer. In doing that we offer support, advice and treatment for cancer patients, information on cancer prevention and funding for research to improve the outcomes for people with cancer. We do this where it is needed most – right at the heart of the community.
The Tenovus specialist Cancer Support Team provides help, advice and support to cancer patients and their families and carers, from first diagnosis, right through treatment and beyond.
We do this in their homes and in the communities where they live through our mobile unit as well as via telephone or through our online support services. Sometimes this may be as simple as offering a friendly chat and a little reassurance, whilst at other times it may mean dealing with the practical, life changing issues that affect people living with cancer.
