Children love sport – the joy and pleasure of playing coupled with a child’s natural tendency to compete with their peers. They love the recognition of having performed to the best of their ability.

This is especially true when a child has been given a second chance at life.

Leeds Little Livers is a team of children all of whom have had life-saving liver transplants. Many of these transplants have followed years of illness when the children have simply not been able to run, jump or play sport in the same way as other children.

Each year, Leeds Little Livers takes a large team of children to the British Transplant Games. The Games celebrate the achievements of these brave children and helps to raise awareness of the huge benefits of organ donation.

In May, Belinda, Carly and Simon will be pounding the streets of Edinburgh making Theo's trip to Bath possible. Please give generously and help them on their way.

Note for Leeds Foundation staff: This page has been set up to raise money for Leeds Little Livers. Please contact Lisa Beaumont (Play Specialist) on Ward 11 SJUH for further details.
