Palace to Palace 2017 · 1 October 2017 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing a 45-mile bike ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle on 1st October 2017, despite not having ridden a bike since I was about 14.

My cousin, Phil Eames is part of Team Oracle 2017 and was looking for volunteers to join the team, so I was "voluntold" by my mum - Annette O'Connor (although she also put herself and my Pappy forward).

I am currently training hard (along with my Ma & Pappy), but any help with fundraising would really help to spur us all on!

The Prince's Trust is a great charity, providing educational opportunities, help to get into employment and support for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people aged from 11 to 30.  I knew very little about the charity before signing up for this, but have been very impressed with what I have found out through my research and think it is a charity that is well worth supporting.  Please head over to their website (www.princes-trust.org.uk) for more information on their great work.
