Story

4 Animals, 1 Old Banger, 1600 miles, 5 Countries in 4 Days, all to help a very brave 6 year old.

Jamie Inglis is 6 years old and is the son of a friend and colleague John Inglis.  Jamie has been fighting neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer, since he was 3 1/2 years old.  He has beaten the disease once but sadly he has relapsed.  Jamie is currently undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy to try and get the disease under control, but his best chance is treatment abroad that costs £250,000 which the NHS can not fund.

Essentailly 4 of us are taking part in the Ramshackle Rally from Calais to Split, Croatia.  The rules are simple, the car must cost £200 or less and must be older than 1996!  Then we decorate the car, get the fancy dress and head off, hopefully with out the need for the RAC.  The Rally begins in Calais on Fri 31 Aug 12 and ends in Split on Mon 3 Sep 12.  We just have to get back then, if the car is still going!

As a team we are self funding all costs including purchase of the car, entry fees, ferry, fuel, accommodation, food etc.  This means that any money you donate will go straight to helping Jamie.  Please don't forget to tick gift aid if you are a UK tax payer.

Please visit our facebook page www.facebook.com/TeamAnimalAntics for regular updates on the preparations and updates during the Rally.
