In memory of Ian Lane
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Hello! Or maybe 'hello again'.

You may have been asked to visit 'just giving' before by a group of us who collectively call ourselves called 'Team Bison'.  We have been raising funds to support the vital work of the Leukaemia Research Fund since we lost our beloved friend Ian Lane to acute myloid leukaemia in September 2001.

Team Bison joined Jeremy Guscott on his walk across the UK in November 2001; we ran the Great  North Run in October 2002; we've held annual table football tournaments on Ian's birthday in October;  and many more smaller parties and occasions. All together, we have raised nearly £50,000.

On 14th October 2006, a few of us will walk 13 miles across Birmingham with Ian Botham as part of his walk through 17 cities in 9 days. Please donate whatever you can to support us, Botham and Leukaemia Research.  Remember, if you give us permission to claim gift aid, your donation will grow by a third, at no extra cost to you.

Thank you very much in advance for whatever you feel able to give.
