We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that has supported us and donated. Especially Richmond's Coaches, Dejavu Clothing for organising a Fashion Show and Peter for his £250 match funding.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our 'Team Cerys D's' fundraising page for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Cerys was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) when I was 20 weeks pregnant. We were immediately treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
HLHS means Cerys was born with half a working heart. At three days old, she had her first open heart surgery, and then another at seven weeks old.
Cerys was due her third planned surgery in July this year, but she was becoming more unwell so surgery was brought forward to May and they ended up doing this stage on her 'third' birthday. We are now home, and she is doing absolutely brilliantly.
She has changed our lives for the better and we wanted to take part in this trek to say thank you to all at GOSH that continue to look after her.
The name Cerys means "to love", she enjoys her life with "great zest" and always "fun" to be around - this is so true.
If you have any ideas for fundraising please contact us, and if you would like to make a donation now, our team would really appreciate it!!
