Thank you for taking the time to visit our '#TeamCerysD's' fundraising page for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
This is our sixth trek now for Great Ormond Street Hospital and so far we have raised over £23,000 for the hospital. We hope to break the £25k with this trek in 2016.
I was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) when I was 20 weeks pregnant. We were immediately treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
HLHS means Cerys was born with half a working heart. At three days old, she had her first open heart surgery, and then another at seven weeks old. She then went on to have emergency open heart surgery on her third birthday in 2012.
She has changed our lives for the better and touched so many people with her zest for life. We wanted to take part in this trek to say thank you to all at GOSH that continue to look after her and all the children under their care.
Thank you
