This year, Laura Jeffrey (HR) and Fatima Dhanani (DCR) – Team DJ – participated in the Hike4Life Winter Challenge 2009, in Uganda, organised by Focus Humanitarian Assistance. Focus Humanitarian Assistance (FOCUS) is an international group of agencies established in Europe, North America and South Asia to complement the provision of emergency relief, principally in the developing world. The Hike4Life challenge provides an opportunity to raise money and awareness of FOCUS and its work. This year the challenge was to climb two mountains: Mt. Elgon (4321m) and Mt. Kaddam (3068m).
