My story
Did you know that an estimated 32 million children live on the streets of Africa?
32 million.
We want to change that.
For 24 hours from Friday 20th January, a group of us will be sleeping rough on the streets of Durham, experiencing life as a street kid. Come rain, wind or snow, we'll be slumming it in the market place and litter picking on the Saturday. All the money raised will go to Abaana (www.abaana.org), furthering their street kids projects and helping to give these children a hope and a future.
Please give generously, and if you're feeling crazy enough, come and sleep out with us! :D
My charity
Abaana
Charity Registration No. Northern Ireland
Abaana's vision is to see the children in Africa have their needs met, their rights upheld and their dreams fulfilled through raising awareness and motivating people to give sacrificially so that lives are transformed and the love of God is shown in a practical way.
