On Sunday 17 July 2011 we are undertaking a Zip Wire event in Salford Quays on behalf of a local charity Beechwood Cancer Care Centre, Stockport.
We will be starting from the top of the Imperial War Museum flying across the Manchester ship Canal over to The Lowry. Your support would be much appreciated for the charitable cause we are supporting.
BEECHWOOD CANCER CARE INFORMATION
Beechwood is a local Stockport day centre opened in 1990 to help anyone whose life has been affected by the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
A cancer diagnosis can come as an enormous shock to patients, their families and carers. They can feel anxious, fearful and often alone.
Within their welcoming surroundings they offer a range of free support, including 1 to 1 talk time, complementary therapies, group sessions, a Family Therapist and Bereavement to help patients, family members and carers cope with all the problems they may have to face.
