Each year Jewson employees vote collectively on a charity
which they would like to fundraise for as a company, this year Jewson will be
supporting Cancer Research UK.

As of 2015, there were 2.5 million people diagnosed with
Cancer in the UK, however due to the efforts of Cancer Research UK, survival
rates are ever increasing.

The work that they carry out is invaluable when trying to
tackle such a horrific disease; raising awareness to the public and getting
people treated at the earliest possible stage can be vital.

Colleagues under the Yorkshire and Humberside region for
Jewson will be coming together to run a total of 20 miles per person, and
customers will be participating to achieve 26 miles for each branch in aid of
this fantastic cause.
