My niece was diagnosed with SMA Type 2 May of this year. She will be two in December and this condition will not allow her to walk or stand without aid. This condition affects the muscles in Isabel's  body as she grows and can affect her health.

1 in 40 is a carrier of the gene that affects.

Sma is a rare condition with currently NO CURE! Although no cure the people at sma are working to help improve the lives of people living with this condition  including my niece.
