Story

Team KC will be taking part in the new annual fundraising event set up in memory of Kris Cook to raise funds for the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices - the Dragon Boat Challenge!

The event will be taking place on Sunday 5th July 2015 at Goldsworth Park lake where Kris would spend his summers when he was growing up windsurfing. So it will be a fitting tribute to spend time on the lake too remembering Kris and raising money for Woking Hospice, who he was raising money for when he tragically died in the Prudential 100 bike ride last year.

It will be a full day of racing against different teams from 10am-4.30pm and I'm sure we will be getting wet at some point!!! Feel free to come and watch on the day as supporters are welcome. We would love you to come and celebrate the life of Kris with us and raise money for a charity he cared about. There will be a pimms tent, bbq, bar and a kid's play area.

The team members are:

Nicola Tait, Mel Farmer, Gemma Davies, Leanne Couttie, Carly Holland, Carly Baker-Harwood, Em Marcarian, Fab Marcarian, Sam Molnar, Curtis Molnar, Sandie Robertson, Krista Lougher, Jo Berry, Alan Dolby, Chris Fisher, Sam Howes, Glenn Parker, Craig Swampy, Sam Duwensee, Emma Trayhorn, Laurie Thumwood

Any amount of support is gratefully received,

Many thanks,

Team KC
