Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Sally and Andy heartbreakingly lost our Dad, Mark to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in December. Ourselves & some of Sally's superstar friends have formed a team to take part in The Colour Run in Manchester in his memory. He gave up many many hours of his time during his life to help various causes, George House Trust was one he was particularly proud of. He volunteered with them and helped counsel many people who found themselves in the devestating situation of being affected by HIV, assisting in helping to find a positive way of living with their predicament.
GHT do fantastic things for people directly and indirectly affected by such a terrible disease. We collected money for Lymphoma Association at his funeral and my brother is raising money for Leukeamia and Lymphoma Research, as Mark was a keen runner as well as charitable in every way he could be to many people & causes, we decided to honour his memory by following his example. The Colour Run that celebrates diversity seemed the perfect tribute to a wonderful man. Please donate whatever you can, £1, £10, £100 and everything in between, every penny helps!
Thank you so much from Sally, Andy, Richard, Charlotte, Kathryn, Rob, Sharne & Scott xxx
