Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 2019 · 4 August 2019 ·
What are we doing?
On the 4th August 2019, Team O'Reilly will be cycling 46 miles raising money and awareness for Spinal Research.
At a combined distance of 184 miles, we will have travelled far enough to get from London to West Flanders in Belgium via bike.
You will be interested to learn that Sophie (25yrs) had a major back operation aged 18yrs because of Idiopathic Scoliosis and had a titanium ladder inserted adjacent her spine to limit the progressive curvature. We are all so proud that Sophie will be doing the 46 mile ride - wearing a Spinal Research cycling jersey.
For Sophie, Keiran and Connor this is a big challenge as it's their first ever cycling sportive. For Kevin (who has completed the Prudential RideLondon 100 miler twice!) this is an even bigger challenge as we will be sticking together for the whole route and he will have to resist the temptation speed off ahead!
We would love for all of our friends, family, work colleagues and anyone else to donate whatever they can to this wonderful cause of Spinal Research, as every donation will spur us on in training and on the day. ALL MONEY GOES TO SPINAL RESEARCH. Thank you everyone from Team O'Reilly.

About Spinal Research
Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Every year 1,000 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed following an injury to their spinal cord. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on the support of the public to raise funds for our research. Because of the efforts of our supporters, we have funded innovative medical research that has achieved a number of ground breaking changes in the field.
