As some of you know, Cesca was diagnosed in July 2009 with type 1 diabetes after becoming very ill indeed and needing emergency hospital treatment, and Jake was taken into hospital on Valentine's Day this year and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes too.  They are both doing very well, but it is a lifelong condition, and something that makes every day a challenge.

 

JDRF are working hard to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, which would make the lives of so many children, including Cesca and Jake, so much easier.

We will be doing the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes in October this year, to raise money to help JDRF towards finding that cure.
