Imagine an area with no prospects and little vision for a childs future. Imagine an area where there is little or no school provision and no access to education, leading to fewer children contributing to their community.

Now……. Imagine a community with a thriving school, where young children are raised with a vision and a hope for their future, and graduate to become leading lights in their communities, their community transformed by children who become, teachers, doctors, business owners and so much more.

This is not just an imaginary exercise….. With your help, this can be a reality.

It has been said that we take education for granted here in the UK. However, in Uganda, children are desperate for the chance of an education but sadly, there are far too many children working the lands, begging and roaming the streets to feed themselves.

Rejuvneate Worldwide are in the process of building a school with our partners in Eastern Uganda. This is going to have a tremendous impact on the lives of young children. In 2004 Rejuvenate started the construction of an operating theatre in Uganda and today the operating theatre serves an area covering over 70,000 people in Mbale. Thousands have benefitted from its facilities including myself. 

In 2013/4 we want to start the construction of the school and give young children the opportunity to become doctors, nurses, teachers and change the world they live in. 

In Kikobero Village, where we plan to build the school, the Uganda National Examinations board were surprised to hear that three of the top students reaching the highest grades were sponsored children from the poorest families. Education makes a difference, and so will building a permanent school!

I will be cycling from London to Paris in June this year to raise as much as possible for the school in Uganda. This will be tough going and in just three days, I aim to complete it still standing, or sitting, depends if I can sit on my bike with the pain.
