I am running as many races  as i can with Nancy in her running buggy so that she is part of the life we want her to live right from the beginning.. we need to show her how to keep herself fit enough to stay as healthy as she can.

Our beautiful baby girl Nancy, youngest of three children was diagnosed with CF at the age of 3 weeks old. Our lives although totally torn apart with this news, has changed irreversibly for the better because we now appreciate the most important things in life.

Cystic Fibrosis affects 9000 young people in the UK, 1 in 25 of us are carriers and every child that is born in the UK is tested for it shortly after birth. The news that your beautiful bundle of warmth, love and light has this terrible incurable disease is life changing. But family and friends are united in helping to raise awareness and find a cure by fundraising, so We've joined together to raised money for our chosen charity, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. They are the only charity in the UK dedicated to funding research into finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis..a life limiting genetic disease that affects all the internal organs in the body and see's it sufferers on daily regimes of lots of medication and physio and inevitably transplant lists. 

Nancy is the most amazing child. Although it sounds like a cliche she really makes us feel as though she has wisdom beyond her years (months in her case!) She has the most beautiful eyes that stare into your soul and drink up all of your presence. She has completed us as a family and we never, never want to be without her.She is my heart and soul and makes us all so unbelievably and blissfully content and happy. But her CF terrifies us.

We live day to day, no further than that because we want to soak up every experience we have with her and enjoy every minute. We know only what we need to know about CF -RIGHT NOW that applies to us RIGHT NOW because we are still living in our beautiful baby bubble.
