Now that the event is over we really do want to thank you all, so much,  for supporting us and not just Huw & Paul but also Bryn & Lainny and Tom & Jenni. This year Team Aber SAR has grown from Tom and I to a 3 Vehicle team, with all 6 team members being Aberystwyth Coastguard and RNLI volunteer crew. Joining me in the Moonlander this year, as Navigator is Paul Williams Tom along with Jenny has entered his own Landrover( <a href="http://www.justgiving.com/guinevere">http://www.justgiving.com/guinevere</a>) and Bryn and Ellaine (<a href="http://www.justgiving.com/BrynandLainy">www.justgiving.com/BrynandLainy</a>) have entered in thier very special Transit Van. The Mac 4X4 is a true test of navigational,orienteering and observational skills, with on and off road sections. It is a test of real endurance both day and night over 4 long days covering well over 1000 miles with a host of tests en route. We have to be totaly self sufficient from start to finish over the 4 days, camping and catering all from the boot of our vehicles. Camping in the snow in March is particularily testing.
