Oh dear - we've accidentally signed up to the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2010 AS WELL AS the Sheffield Half Marathon and the Great North Run. We thought that the best way to keep us motivated was to run for a cause and we have chosen Cavendish Cancer Care.

Cavendish Cancer Care helps people to adjust and ease the impact of living with cancer. They do this by providing a free service to the people of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, focusing on the emotional affects of cancer through complimentary therapy and support. Cavendish also offers support for the families of cancer patients - an invaluable service. Kate has developed close links with the fundraising team at Cavendish over the last year and having visited the centre and knowing people who have benefited from the service, we decided to embark on this personal challenge to contribute to this charity.
