We provide specialist care and support to people with life-shortening illnesses.

Story

A team of determined St Catherine’s supporters are embarking
on an adventure of a lifetime in India, as they take on our very first overseas
charity challenge!

A group of 23 intrepid walkers are taking on the iconic
Dalai Lama Trek – a gruelling five-day hike through the foothills of the
Himalayas.

They will also experience the customs and cultures of India
during the 11-day trip, and have been training for months in preparation for
the unique challenge.

If you would like to show your support for Team St
Catherine’s, you can leave them good luck messages and sponsor them as a group
here.

Funds raised will help us continue offering our specialist care to local people
affected by life-shortening illnesses such as motor neurone disease, cancer,
and heart failure here at the hospice, out in the community, and in people’s
own homes.

We have to raise a staggering £3.5million of our annual £5.2million running
costs every single year, and we simply wouldn’t be able to continue helping
people to have quality of life until the end of life, without the wonderful
support of our communities, so thank you!
