In 2013 and 2014, Sunfield took part in The Black Country Run entering teams made up of; students, parents, staff members, community groups, families and companies, who walked or ran for us raising sponsorship funds towards our work.

The total sponsorship to date is over £10,000 and has helped purchase two brand new minibuses, a seven seater car, sensory resources, fitness and play equipment and a new school food technology kitchen – all enhancing the lives of our students and young people at Sunfield.

This year, 'Team Sunfield' will be pounding the streets again walking and running along the route to raise funds and awareness for the Sunfield students.

Fund raised in 2015 will go towards our Elm House Refurbishment Appeal - one of our residential houses for our 2:1 (adult: child) children, with complex needs. The refurbishment will mean that Elm House and each room will be modernised, tailored and individualised to meet the specific needs of the children.
