My story
As one of Manchester Pride's trustees, I thought it would be great to top up the fundraising pot. Taurus is a community led bar and we have a great relationship with The LGF
This time last year I had an operation on my ankle which left me wheelchair bound for 6 months and I put 2 stone on in weight. At one point it was doubtful whether I would walk again. As a result I want to celebrate my weight loss and achievements.
I think its going to be a camp day!
I am apprehensive about the run as my ankle has 6 pins in it and is still broken, due to the fact I have osteoarthritis. I am also very excited about it. I may have to hobble the last few k's but I am determined to finish it…
