Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Team Cycle-Ops are  riding over 500 miles in three days on a relay format from Blarney Castle in the south west of Ireland to Dublin raising money for charity.

We leave Swansea for Cork by overnight ferry on 29th September 2010, and after kissing the Blarney stone we head west to the Atlantic coast over the 'Ring of Kerry to Kilarney. Heading west and north up the coast over the Cliffs of Moher to Galway. Our final day sees us cross back, south of Lough Derg to Dublin, and returning home to Holyhead.

All teams are made up of dedicated people rising to a physical challenge and raising money for good causes.

Challenge Adventure Charities enables us to raise money in the secure knowlege that all raised cash goes to the nominated causes. This year we are raising money for Cancer Research and British Heart Foundation, with our own nominated charity being Julia's House Childrens Hospice.

All costs of entry are met by us, all raised funds go to the stated charities.

Normal training miles of up to 100 miles per week  are becoming the norm, everyone is enjoying the challenge!!

12th September Update

Not long to go now, training schedules are now well on stream and we are looking forward to the challenge.

More than 6000 collective miles have been cycled in training, we think we should be ready for the Cork & Kerry mountains, or we hope so!!

Completed the Elliott's around the branches challenge 75 miles in Hampshire. Pouring with rain, but spirits were not dampened.

Just 3 days to go!!

Thanks for all the support  so far , but it is not about us it is for those we aim to help so lets keep aiming for our £2k goal

4th October 2010

Mission Accomplished!!!

The team have completed the challenge, braving mist , rain,  sun, and very strong winds. Tremendous team work, year long training and dedication has enabled us to achieve our goal, without mishap.

A large thank you to the team and all our sponsors, let's hope we can make a difference.
