On the 16/08/2020 we were planning to cycle 100 miles to raise money for Penny Appeal Emergency Campaign at the Ride London Event. The most we have ever cycled in a day was approximately 40miles. However, due to Covid-19 the event was postponed.  Therefore, we are now planning to ride 100 miles on the 26/07/2020. This will be a huge challenge to overcome but we feel with the right motivation we can raise awareness and some money for a great cause.

All of us in the UK are blessed that we have our homes, friends and families around us.  Penny appeal supports those who have been displaced from their homes be it from war, famine or other natural disasters.

Penny Appeal provide emergency campaign aims to raise funds to provide the most basic of necessities:

Food Packs: Cost per pack £50

• Ground Wheat
• Rice
• lentils
• Olive Oil
• Hummus
• Okra
• Tomato Paste
• Sugar

Hygiene Kits: Cost per pack £30

• Body Soap
• Dish Washing Detergent 
• Detergent for Washing Clothes
• Toothbrush and Toothpaste
• Shampoo 
• Female Sanitary Pads 

Shelter: Cost £300

• Tents - Houses 4x6 Family Tent (UNHCR)
• Tarpaulins - Used to Shelter Damaged Homes
