Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

In June 2011 my friend Gail lost her 22 month old son, Max, to a rare condition called Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).

Max was a happy little chappy who lived life to the full. It came as a huge shock to us to learn of his death and really bought it home how fragile our little ones can be.

The goal of sponsorship and fundraising for all the Team Max events is to be able to fund a research grant via Epilepsy Action into the causes and cures for all children and adults living with epilepsy.

If that research means just one other baby have the chances baby Max never will, every step of my 42 km will be worth it.

Please dig deep for this very worth cause!
