Marcus very sadly lost his wonderful Dad, Ted in May this year to Pancreatic Cancer after having being diagnosed only 6 months or so before.  Ted was a fantastically lively chap and his illness was a sudden shock to him and his family.  He never gave up hope, and is an inspiration!  

Ted spent his last few weeks at the Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay.  It is a charity funded hospice for people needing palliative care.  Ted felt like he was in a 5 star hotel here, the staff were so warming, the food was great, the gardens were beautiful and not to forget the G&T with lunch! It was bliss for Ted and comforting to his family & friends to know he was in such good hands.  It is amazing to know that such places exist; we want to help them continue.

This page is dedicated to raising money for the hospice so that other people and their families can experience the same care.
Marcus & Julia will be doing various activities to raise donations, starting with a 10k run along Bournemouth Seafront on Sunday 18th October.  Watch this space for other activities....
