My story
Thanks for popping in to peruse my findraising page!
As you know, 2012 is set to be an epic year for me and the other brave (nuts?) souls who proudly call themselves Team12. The idea is based around the 12in12. It's is a yearlong fundraiser for HOPEHIV, which will see the team each complete 12 events in 12 months. Yes, the idea is a little nutty - no denying that. But at the heart of it, is the belief that by doing everything we can to raise as much money as possible we can put together some project funding which will allow HOPE HIV to affect actual change in people whose lives and families are torn apart by HIV.
I'll be organising a 12 hour squash-a-thon (YIKES!), competing in the Cheshire Triathalon, riding my bike from London to Paris over a 4 day period and chasing a PB in the Manchester 100mile bike race among others.
The team from Work will be getting involved in number of projects, so a huge and special thanks to the team from Network Marketing.
It's going to be one of the biggest and most important years of my life so far and you know me well enough that I get the people around me as involved in my life as I possibly can so I'll be coming along to totally unashamedly ask for your financial support through the year. Final big push now towards the last project of the year. An epic 12 hour challenge on December the 1st involving 12 different sports, played for an hours each to push me right to the very edge of my physical capacity. Trainnig starts tomorrow...EXCITED!
