Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During school half-term; May/June, I completed the challenge of walking the 79 mile Yorkshire Wold Way. I was accompanied by my 24 year old son Trefor.

I was fortunate to have received a kidney transplant in August 2007, I had been one of 6000 on the waiting list. Without the transplant, I would not have been able to undertake this challenge.

I would be very grateful for donations to the National Kidney Federation in their support of the many patients that are reliant on dialysis and those as lucky as myself that have had a transplant.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
