Teja's Swim for a mile challenge page

Swim for a mile challenge · 12 August 2017
I was given the opportunity to fundraise through the grow challenge as part of the First Year Internship Programme at HSBC. The grow challenge involves our team of 8 trying to raise as much money as possible before the 17th of August. One of the activities as part of this fundraising marathon is swimming a mile. This will be done by 3 colleagues and myself so each will swim 400 metres. I'm enthusiastic about tackling this challenge and would love to carry your encouragement with me :)

Here is a brief summary about Alzheimer's disease and what actions the society takes-
So Dementia refers to a category of brain diseases that decrease a person's ability to think and hence affect their daily life. Now, Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia (accounts for 50 to 70 percent of dementia cases, other types you may have heard are Parkinson's disease and vascular dementia). So, if you are feeling scientific..........even if you aren't.....just learn something new and watch videos 1 to 4 :)

Hope you learned something new for the day!
