<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Archie, my eldest son now nearly 5 years old has Cerebral Palsy and can't walk independently despite 4 years of intensive physiotherapy. &nbsp;We have recently looked into a procedure called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, where a vertebrae is removed to expose the spinal cord and some of the sensory nerves are cut, which permanently reduces the stiffness in the legs. &nbsp;It is this stiffness which is preventing Archie from walking. &nbsp; So we are intending to head out to St Louis Missouri for what we hope will be &nbsp;be a completely life changing operation for Archie, and hope to raise some funds to go towards the &pound;50,000 cost of the surgery. &nbsp; If you would like to look at Archie's fund raising page you can go to&nbsp;<span style="font-family: Georgia, &#39;Times New Roman&#39;; font-size: 13px; color: #0000ff;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.operationarchie.com/">http://www.operationarchie.com/</a>.</span></span></p> <p>Many thanks Teresa</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
