St Dunstan's - 100k Challenge · 11 June 2011 ·

We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

I'm not loads a fan of physical exercise... eating pies on the other hand is probably in my top five things to do (especially if it's steak and stilton). So, on the basis that I can eat pies almost every day as part of my training, I have decided to walk from London to Brighton for St Dunstan's (a supremely brilliant charity) and would be overjoyed if you could donate a few (and by a few I definitely mean loads) pennies.

I start my ten week training programme today... which will begin browsing t'internet for walking boots and trainers. I'm holding out for some velociraptor boots with Henry VIII laces. Wish me luck!

Oh, and anyone who is no longer a student and definitely gets up and goes to work everyday - please remember gift aid is important :)

Thank you in advance, I love you all. If I die in the challenge you can argue amongst yourselves who gets my miniature wheelie bin and who gets my wind up egg.
