As many of you may know, Taylin was diagnosed with Wilms' tumour, a kidney cancer, at just 21 months old. She has been amazingly lucky. The tumour appears to have been confined to her kidney and Taylin has taken the treatment (surgery and chemotherapy) in her stride.

Hearing our happy, and seemingly healthy, daughter had cancer was our worst nightmare and we were both devastated. We stayed strong for Taylin but inside both felt immense strain and upset.

As soon as we were introduced to Momentum, a weight lifted. They have provided us with emotional support, organised music therapy sessions for Taylin and provided us with an opportunity for a much needed short break. The support they offer families is amazing and we will forever be grateful to them. 

We want to do what we can to ensure they are able to continue to support families.

On May 11th, Taylin, Lara, Alex, Bobbi, Jacob and Oscar, will be walking around Bedfont Lakes and then will stop to enjoy a teddy bear's picnic. During Taylin's stays in hospital her teddies have become her best friends and we thought it fitting that they help her now!
