Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page in memory of Terry Carroll, the founder and main man of ZZiplex.  Terry's widow would prefer donations instead of flowers.  The money raised will be given to Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent.

Sadly Terry was taken from us on Saturday 14th March after a short and brave fight against Cancer. Terry was a dedicated and loving Husband to Barbara. He was also inventor of the world renowned rod, respected and admired by thousands of casters and fishermen the world over. He was instrumental in finding a practical use for carbon fibre in fishing rods and was undaunted when ridiculed. Overcoming every obstacle and pursuing different business opportunities until ...

... and the rest, as they say, is history.

We know that Terry would be proud to be honoured in this way and hope that you will donate what you can.  He really appreciated all the help and dedication from the people who made his last few weeks as comfortable as possible, any time he needed it, allowing him to stay in the home that he loved.
