GAAP In Action
Project 1 HELP FUNMI APPEAL: Target £5,000
Funmi has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and a reduced brain. She cannot be cured but her doctor told GAAP that we can help improve her quality of life with a good care plan involving nutritional suppliments and professional medical care. GAAP revisited the home in July 2010 and delivered a large quantity of Complan plus non-precription medicines that are in short supply.
Project 2 WATER BORE HOLE APPEAL: Target £5,000
We are nearly there! GAAP commissioned the bore hole in June 2010. Workers penetrated 5 core layers beneath the home, eventually reaching water at approximately 45 meters. A sample has been sent to the laboratory for purity testing. Plumbing and electrical work is underway which will eventually supply the orphanage with running water for the 1st time in its history. In addition GAAP installed two massive water tanks capable of storing 8,000 litres of water. GAAP is working in partnership with the Ogun State Government with regards to providing ongoing assistance at this and other homes in the future. We have much more work to do in Africa including providing a school teacher at Funmi's home which is why we urge you to give to support our work. YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP US DO SOMETHING AMAZING & SAVE CHILDREN'S LIVES SO…Thank you for visiting this page and for supporting GAAP Orphanage Foundation.
