I saw this charity for the first time on the motorbike show on ITV4 and thought "that's brilliant". After being unable to take part in a half marathon last year following injuries from a minor motorcycle accident, I discovered when I got deployed that the place I'm deployed to does this 972km challenge.

I am trying to exercise using a points system an equivalent distance of 972 km over roughly 60 days, this is the same as the most southern point of the country I'm in to the most northern point as the crow flies. This system means I need to gain over 16 points every day, without a day off. That is equivalent to 16km cycling, or 8 km running every day. I have to fit this in around work as well so it's not as easy as it looks.
