Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are climbing the National 3 Peaks starting in Scotland on the morning of 16 June and finishing in Wales on Sunday 17 June. The challenge is a serious test of strength, stamina and determination and involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.
Our challenge begins in Fort William, Scotland where we start with an assault on Ben Nevis, the highest of the 3 peaks at 1344m, before transferring across country to Scafell Pike in the Lake District. Here we use the last of the day's light to guide us to its summit at 978m. With weary legs and by torchlight, our final test of endurance and determination is to summit Mount Snowdon, wales at 1085m and descend before clocking 24 hours, raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care
