We did it! I with lots of encouragement from my friends! cycled the Coast-to-coast off-road - 1 year to the day nearly - since breaking my leg!
Ride stats!
* START St Bees Cumbria END Robin Hood Bay Yorkshire.
* DISTANCE 234 Miles (plus or minus 10%)* ASCENT 9814m
* 6.5 days
I think I can assuredly say it was the hardest thing I have ever done.
The scenery was amazing and the riding incredible, the views!, super technical descents! and one amazing flowing section of 7 km of continuous singletrack. And I have some pictures here!

Because it was 'a bit Epic' for me I wanted to see if anyone would help me along by sponsoring a charity I like. They
are called Alive!
Alive!
This charity aims to raise self esteem and pleasure for people living in
care-homes for seniors. I would describe it in detail but..... their
website does a better job of it than I could . I have met the people who
are doing all the work – including the trustees - it is a small charity
and one that seems so totally worthwhile – I really wanted to try to
help them by raising some money for them.

So if you fancy donating some money for a charity I think these people
are doing really good things and actually making a difference to people
who live in care homes.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
