Story
Funding is needed to rescue working elephants into a forest reintroduction program.
A group of mahouts and elephant owners want to return to their community in the mountains of northern Thailand and bring their elephants back to live in the forest. These rescued elephants would otherwise be forced to find work performing in circus shows, giving rides to tourists, or begging on city streets

GVI has funded the rescue of a group of 5 elephants and their entry into the forest reintroduction program. More funds are required to increase the security of our small herd, and also to rescue more elephants and bring them into the program.
All funds received go towards ensuring the sustainable future of our rescued herd, and rescuing more working elephants to come live happy lives in the forest.
