Hello, this page was set up to raise funds for my Thai 750km bike ride (see below). As circumstances would dictate, unfortunatly I fell off said bike in the days leading up to the charity ride and injured my hand to the extent I could not grip the handlebars and I made the decision this was not the sort of event I could take on with one arm. In an effort to maintain the commitment to the people who sponsored me I have since decided to take on the Maclehose 100km trailwalker event, here in Hong Kong. This is an epic endurance event involving no pedals, using only feet to cover 100 mainly off-road kilometres, including a 950m mountain and 4500m of elevation gain over an estimated 24hr duration. Suffice to say this is no mean feat for a cyclist, but I wanted something just as hard, if not harder than the 'Thai 750'. As a team we are also raising funds here:

Thanks for taking the time to visit my 'Thai 750' JustGiving page. Instead of doing a marathon to raise money for charity, I've decided to take on something much harder! On the Friday 4th March I shall join 4 other slightly nuts individuals to attempt to ride from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, covering a distance of apx. 750km in 3 days. I have broken the 200km mark a few times on my bike, but never the 300km (day 1), and I've never climbed back on and done the same thing again the next day. Or caught a plane on the Sunday night... This will be hard, but it is for a good cause- Marie Curie Cancer Care. So please dig deep and donate now. In depth routes are available on the following links, and I hope to include GPS data and a couple of photos as evidence of how we do as part of the thank you email for any donations big or small.

Total:  up to 763.19km
