Story

Erm...what?: Basically, with Hampton Court Bridge as our start point, we will walk to the next bridge on the River Thames and then the next and so on. There are 25 bridges in total with the Queen Elizabeth II bridge as the last! We are featured on Walk England and on Walk London!

When are we gonna do it: April 3rd, 2010. This is on Easter weekend so if you're free it would be great if you could join us.....and bring some sandwiches too....extra mayonnaise. On the day and leading up to it, we will be making updates on our status and progess on Twitter!

This is also the weekend of the great Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race which takes place from Putney Bridge to Chiswick Bridge! Come to support us and watch a great London event aswell!

Why are we doing this?: We are doing this as a sponsored fundraising event to raise money for The Weekenders Club (Leeds Weekenders Care Assocation). This charity aims to provide families of children with severe disabilities or complex care needs with an activity club for children at weekends, which is safe, fun and stimulating! One of the many members of the club is our neice Maham and seeing firsthand, her and many children like her, enjoying the activites of the Club has inspired us to further help this cause.

Go to our YouTube Channel to see more about the Weekenders Club and us talking about the epic walk!
