Over the last number of years, former players from the Ballysillan based 118th BBOB and the 92nd BBOB along with numerous friends have raised thousands of pounds for local charities, including MS, Spina Bifida, Kidney Research, 'Shine-A-Light' terminally ill children's charity and Clic Sargent.
