Story

I am running The Amazing Maasai Marathon, here in Kenya. Its gonna be a tough one running at altitude and in intense heat, oh and the prospect of being eaten by a Lion, but this is for a truely amazing young boy who is an inspiration to us all. Please read his storey and dip deep to make a small donation to Keep Jamie Smiling.

Jamie has relapsed neuroblastoma. He has been fighting neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer, since he was 3 ½ years old. He has beaten the disease once but sadly the cancer has come back. Jamie’s immediate treatment will be radiotherapy and chemotherapy to try and get the disease under control. As we do not have any relapse treatment protocols in the UK, Jamie’s best chance of beating neuroblastoma is to travel abroad for treatment.

His best hope for survival lies in Germany. The treatment Jamie needs costs £250,000 and will not be funded by the NHS which is why he needs your support.

So please dig deep and donate now.
