Story

On Sunday 25th March, the intrepid souls at The BIG Partnership will take to the bracing waters of the River Tay to once again compete in the Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland White Water Rafting Challenge.

Generous donations helped The BIG Partnership raise over £1600 for the charity in 2011, so the pressure's on for the team to outdo themselves and raise even more this year.

As well as aiming to win (of course) and to raise money for the charity, there's added pressure for the team as they endeavour to live up to the standard set by the excellent 2011 crew.

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland helps those affected by chest, heart and stroke illness in Scotland, conducting medical research and providing sufferers with advice, information and support to improve their quality of life.

2012's team members are:

Marjorie Calder, Suzanne Fairbairn, Sharon Mars, Mike McGrail, Alan Gorham, Lucy Nicolson, George Francis and Derek Main.

Each of the team has been given a fundraising target of £125 to help The BIG Partnership reach its overall goal, so in the spirit of healthy competition, please mention the name of the team member you're supporting when you donate.

Thank you
