<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p>This is the 4th St Helena Hospice Midnight Walk and the 3rd we'll have&nbsp;taken part in :-)&nbsp;</p> <p>Sadly we lost our Mum to cancer in November 2009. Mum spent&nbsp;time in the Hospice where she was given&nbsp;excellent care and support which allowed her to have better quality of life.&nbsp; We were also given great support as a family both at the Hospice and at&nbsp;home.</p> <p>It costs over &pound;5.8 million a year to provide Hospice services free to patients and their carers. They are not part of the NHS but are given a&nbsp;grant from the local primary care trust which helps a bit towards the cost. All other funding has to come from other sources&nbsp;which includes charity fundraising events such as The Midnight Walk.</p> <p>We really would like your help in raising some of the much needed money for the costs in 2012 to ensure that others get the same care and support that Mum and&nbsp;our family received, so please dig deep and donate now.</p> <p>Thank you sooo much!</p> <p>Love</p> <p>Sarah &amp; Claire xxxxxxx</p>
